Studio 2108 recently developed a new logo for Dermatology Specialists of St. Louis. Below is a breakdown of the logo guidelines.
EXPLANATION & MEANING
The logo includes the following conceptual elements: layers of skin, sunset, sun shield and microscope slide. The over-all rectangular shape of this logo reflects the shape of a microscope slide. The vertical lines are representative of not only shielding the sun, but also the pattern that microscope slides make when they are stored in a container on their side. The layers underneath the vertical lines represent the many layers of both the sun and skin.
