Lafayette Square Website Redesign

Studio 2108 is proud to announce the launch of the newly redesigned official website for the Lafayette Square neighborhood!
This project was more than just a client engagement for Studio 2108; it was a passion project rooted in the company’s own origin story.
Studio 2108 was founded in Lafayette Square over two decades ago. The neighborhood isn’t just where the business began—it’s home. Our owner, Wayne, not only started the company in the square but also raised his children here and continues to be an active resident.
“Lafayette Square is in our DNA,” said Wayne. “We see the beauty of the park, the incredible architecture, and the vibrancy of this community every single day. We wanted to build a website that truly reflects the elegance and spirit of the neighborhood we love. This was personal for us.”
The previous website served the community for years, but it was time for a complete overhaul to match the neighborhood’s prestige. The new LafayetteSquare.org is a ground-up rebuild focused on visual storytelling, user-friendly navigation, and mobile-first responsiveness.
The new design’s key features include:
- Elegant, Modern Aesthetics: The design moves away from a dated structure to embrace a clean, sophisticated, and image-forward layout. It uses a refined color palette and classic typography that pay homage to the neighborhood’s historic Victorian architecture.
- Stunning Visuals: The site now features high-resolution photography that showcases the “painted ladies,” the beauty of Lafayette Park, and the vibrant community life, inviting visitors and residents to explore.
- Intuitive Navigation: The new site architecture is designed to serve multiple audiences—from current residents looking for the latest news and event schedules to tourists planning a visit or new individuals looking to move to the neighborhood.
- Community-Focused Content: The new design makes it easier to find information on the Lafayette Square Restoration Committee, community events, local businesses, and the neighborhood’s rich history.
“Our goal was to create a digital ‘front porch’ for Lafayette Square—one that feels as welcoming, beautiful, and historic as the neighborhood itself,” Wayne added. “We’re honored to have been a part of this project and to give back to the community that gave us our start.”
We invite everyone to explore the new site and see the digital gateway to St. Louis’s oldest and most picturesque historic district.
