December 2008 – Wayne finds a new office space located closer to his home, signs a lease and moves into and expand into a new and larger office space with 1700 sq ft located at 1808 Chouteau Ave – moved in January 2009. Wayne signs a 5-year lease after moving too many times.
July 2008 – Continued growth in the website design, development, and hosting. The total number of websites hosted is up to 82.
May 2008 – Wayne celebrates his 12th year in business as a graphic designer in St. Louis, MO and 18 years of experience as a graphic designer 9 years of web design and development.
March 2008 – Continued growth in the website design, development, and hosting. The total number of websites hosted is up to 80.
January 2008 – Continued growth and the need for a second employee – allows Studio 2108 to move and expand into a new and larger 1200 sq ft office space located at 3801 Wyoming Ave. Continued growth in the website design, development, and hosting. The total number of websites hosted is up to 75.
May 2007 – Wayne celebrates his 11th year in business as a graphic designer in St. Louis, MO and 17 years of experience as a graphic designer. Hires 1st full-time employee – 1 of the 3 interns from summer of 2006.
March 2007 – Wayne expands Studio 2108 and leases a 600 sq ft office space at 2000 S. 39th Street to support the continued growth. The total number of clients for web services is up to 70.
May 2006 – Wayne celebrates his 10th year in business as a graphic designer in St. Louis, MO. Hires 3 interns for the summer to work on 4 catalogs for TAG. Offers 1 of the 3 interns a full-time job to start in May 2007.
2003 – 2006 – Continued growth in the website design, development, and hosting. The total number of clients for web services is up to 60 by 2006.
2002 – Wayne starts providing web hosting as Studio 2108 instead of outsourcing it to outside vendors. Converts 10 clients from their web hosting provider to Studio 2108 web hosting.
March 1999 – December 1999 – Returns to Checkmark Communications as a Freelancer while taking on freelance jobs from Rawlings Sporting Goods and other clients.
December 1998 – Wayne expands to a graphic design and web design company located in Lafayette Square. Starts doing business as Studio 2108 and registers the domain studio2108.com.
October 1998 – Wayne and Julie purchase a 6000 square foot home in Lafayette Square and begin restoring an old house that needed lots of work. Eventually is featured in Restore America HGTV, MyDream TV.
May 1998 – March 1999 – Wayne takes a full-time job at Kupper Parker Communications in order to satisfy the bank requirements to purchase a home and continues to do freelance work at the same time.
June 1997 – May 1998 – Wayne works with Checkmark Communications as a Freelancer working on pet food and cereal packaging and POS materials.
May 1996 – Wayne moves from Kansas City to St. Louis MO with wife Julie Padberg-White. Wayne starts freelancing as a graphic designer as Wayne M. White Design and takes on small assignments from temp agencies and small Marketing Firms.
May 1994 – May 1996 – Art Director – Legends Athletic – Kansas City, MO. This was one of Wayne’s greatest jobs. Designing: Catalogs, flyers, graphics to be embroidered for all licensed apparel. Wayne meets and works with the current owners of TAG Team Uniforms.
December 1992 – May 1994 – Graphic Artist – Stouse Sign and Decal – Kansas City, MO. This was a production artist job that taught Wayne how to be efficient on the Mac.
December 1992 – Graduate with BFA Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration – Kansas State University – Manhattan, KS
October 1990 – December 1992 – Graphic Artist – Ag Press – Manhattan, KS. Wayne learns about the printing and design process using light tables and paste-up. No Macs on site of Ag Press. Wayne purchases his first Mac LC to be used for school projects.
